Stephen Wandu is the founder of I CAN South Sudan, Member of Board of Directors, a South Sudanese refugee and an experienced Gospel musician, who has worked with the Mbaraza Gospel Band, the Fire Gospel Band, and a solo career as singer-song writer Ambassadeur Koko. Elected as President for Musicians in Western Equatoria State in 2010 and served till 2013. Has previous experience with children, having worked as a musical teacher for Primary Schools in South Sudan, for Sunday Schools, and with street children. A father of four children of his own.
After graduating with Diploma in Public Relations in 2009, Stephen has worked as Private Secretary to the Western Equatoria State Advisor on Economic Affairs, Project Manager for Bimo Agri-Business Multi Purpose, Vice President for Tatamana Media and Entertainment Company, Interpreter for European Union Elections Observation Mission in Sudan in 2010, Data Entry Administrator for Sudan National Election Commission in 2010, Enumerator for Southern Sudan Commission for Census, Statistics and Evaluation and Sales Representative for Jico/Vivacell in 2010. Attended training in Peace Building and Conflict Transformation with Caritas Justice and Peace Commission, Monitoring and Evaluation and Financial Management with Pact Sudan and Post Referendum and News Referendum with Sudan Media and Election Consortium
