A resourceful, result driven, highly motivated and experienced Communication for Development , professional Journalist and humanitarian with over 10 years of experience focusing on Health, Education, Agriculture, Youth and women Empowerment, Socio- economic, political and Human rights advocacy.
He has worked with local and International Media organizations, Yambio FM, Anisa FM, Tuck Magazine UK and Voice of America.
Areas of expertise include Media and Public Relations, Advocacy, Media Trainer, editing and reporting, radio production (Radio Magazines, drama, etc) , Audience survey, radio presentation (News and program Anchoring) amongst others, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, data collection and analysis, Project planning and Management.
He Worked as Press Secretary in the Office of the Governor, Western Equatoria State 2010-2014, Freelance Journalist with Voice of America, South Sudan in Focus 2011 todate Tuck Magazine correspondent 2017 to date, and just concluded his internship as Assistant communication officer with the South Sudan Red cross.
Education Qualification, Gift holds a post graduate Diploma in Public Administration and Management from Nkumba University (2017-2018) Bach of Science in Journalism and Communication (2013-2016) Nkumba University and Diploma in Information Technology , Data mine Technical Business School- Kampala (2007-2009)
Leadership: I captained Youngster Football Club for three years, and during my university education, I served in different capacities in the leaderships of students affairs, President of Western Equatoria State Students Union in Uganda (WESSU), Chairperson -Electoral Commission -South Sudanese Students Union in Uganda,(SSSU-U 2017-2018), Vice- Chairperson -Electoral Commission -South Sudanese Students Union in Uganda, (SSSU-U 2016-2017), Speaker Electoral Commission Equatoria Students’ Union in Uganda (ESUU 2014-2015 ), Nkumba University Journalism student Coordinator (2014-2015)
Awards: Human rights Journalist Award 2016 from Journalist for Human Rights Organization (JHR) and Association for Independent Media in South Sudan.
