Life Skills for Vulnerable Children

On 23rd November 2021, we started engaging I CAN Children in life skills program funded by Oxfam IBIS. We engaged the children in Tie and Dye program which aims at building their skills in making clothes, remove their thoughts from the daily life situation, unit the children and instill team work and collaboration. We use the activities to bring children together, listen to them and help advice them and guide them. It is fun too making this with children and this relieve them of the stress.

This program is conducted in all our 4 children centers in Bidibidi Zone 1 including our center with the host community and in Zone 2.

We have witnessed children smiling and regain confidence, get skills in this program and it is one of the good psycho social activities
